Abstract

|
Two cases of acquired methemoglobinemia induced by ingestion of acetophentidin for
fever control were described.
The manifestation characterized by cyanosis was disappeared noticeably by
administration of ascorbic acid, 300∼500mg, daily for seven days approximately.
Brief review of the literatures was also made.
